Written confirmation is obtained from the Human Resource Department or the similar verifying authority of the company. Employment history verification is crucial for many reasons. Job applicants may lie on their resume to cover up previous employment troubles, and even periods of detention that they detectably do not want to reveal in an application for a new job. You are decently gratified to make as sure as you probably can that your employees and the company in common are not harmed through your employment of an unsuitable candidate. Our verification process should detect any false dates of employment provided, any amplification of positions or responsibilities held and the option of fictitious employers being named. It is, in fact, not all that rare, and there have been some well-known cases reported in the Press. Here are some reasons why people do this. A very frequent reason for stating false periods of employment with specific companies is to hide firing for inappropriate behavior, violence to other employees or theft and any such unacceptable reasons. Any one of these could give a good reason for finding an employer guilty of insignificant hiring, and this itself introduces a problem. While it is essential that you identify these applicants, the previous employers might be loathe providing details to you that could specify them to have been inattentive. At times only a skilled examiner can get to the fact of these situations. Another cause is to hide a period of conviction, so someone released from prison can be confident of finding employment quickly. It is easier to provide a fictitious employer, or widen the period of the previous employment. Such temptations can be alluring to a person worried to find employment.  If questioned on the reasons for the job changes indicated on the resume, an applicant can provide a change of state or country, or even the desire for development, as a reason. They all sound believable, there having been abundance of time for practice of the tale! Both of these excuses, or reasons, are common and are difficult to disprove if previous employers are dislike providing full employment details. This is mainly true of lies told concerning positions of accountability. Many employers will agree to provide employment dates if pressed, but no more. Not even separation details. If you feel that something is not ringing true, or just feel a little bit nervous about the person you are interviewing, you are advised to have a professional carry out full employment history verification, and even a criminal record investigation.
